Highland Tech High School is a technology based charter school, housing 7th thru 12th graders. Currently, around 300 students are enrolled. Highland Tech High equips students with the academic, social, and technical skills to excel in today’s world and contribute positively to our society and the future. Students who graduate from HTH are able to choose their future, whatever that choice may be.

The Grading Process:

Students are graded based upon their own performance. Instead of the average letter grade system, HTH is using a system that requires the students to “master” standards using the following system:

• Emerging = student is beginning to address the standard
• Developing = student is trying hard, and almost there
• Proficient = student has mastered standard. They know and can do it.
• Advanced = student has mastered the standard and is able to teach others or model for others how to master the standard
